The Grand Summary
Exalt Ritual and Honor the Worthy to Become King
君人者，隆禮尊賢而王，重法愛民而霸，好利多詐而危。欲近四旁，莫如中央，故王者必居天下之中，禮也。
A ruler who exalts ritual and honors the worthy becomes a king. One who emphasizes law and loves the people becomes a hegemon. One who loves profit and practices much deceit faces danger. To be close to all four sides, nothing is better than being at the center — therefore the true king must reside at the center of the world. This is ritual.
One Who Can Speak Well and Act Well Is a National Treasure
口能言之，身能行之，國寶也。口不能言，身能行之，國器也。口能言之，身不能行，國用也。口言善，身行惡，國妖也。治國者敬其寶，愛其器，任其用，除其妖。
One who can articulate it in speech and embody it in action is a national treasure. One who cannot articulate but can embody it is a national vessel. One who can articulate but cannot embody it is useful to the state. One who speaks well but acts wickedly is a national menace. He who governs the state should revere its treasures, cherish its vessels, employ the useful, and eliminate the menaces.
