清神生心，心生規，規生矩，矩生方，方生正，正生歷，歷生四時，四時生萬物。聖人因而理之，道遍矣。
Clear spirit generates the heart-mind, the heart-mind generates the compass, the compass generates the square, the square generates rectitude, rectitude generates the calendar, the calendar generates the four seasons, the four seasons generate all things. The sage follows and orders them — thus the Way is complete.
